Obama won!! Yeah!! Even though I'm not American, I support Barack Obama to the T. A great man and orator, I had been supporting him ever since he had started campaigning.
He has created history.
Congratulations America and the new first family of America!

I was complaining to my dad a few days back that he never bothers with his appearance, you know and I have been more than embarrassed with his 'dad' shirts. Trust me, he has more than a few and if I ever get my hands on them...lets just say, it won't be pretty.
Then today somebody gifted him this amazing perfume I adore (on guys) and my dads not seen it yet but every time he goes out for parties I'll squirt it around him, I am going to make sure of that!
Pretty expensive too. Price: $22.00 - $75.00.
Yeah for people who gift stuff!
I adore taking, hate giving.

God , its cold today. My hands were frozen while I was drawing triangles and circles for math. My mom thought I was being ridiculous. She said, 'What are you wearing??? Are you crazy?? You'll heat yourself to death'
Not heat, mom, FREEZE.
I got my allowance a few days back and I have a few dollars stuffed somewhere in my closet.
And...I'm going shopping!!
God, I love that word(sentence).

Cute! I want!

Yesterday was Halloween and I obviously didn't get a chance to wear one of those cute Halloween outfits BECAUSE Halloween is NOT celebrated in India.
Talk about rotten luck.
I remember Ayesha(one of my best friends) telling me about her Halloween when she lived in the US. She wore this purple dress in the name of Mulan? Cinderella?
*sheepish*
I forgot.
But anyway, I visited a few blogs where they gushed about their fantastic evening while I sat on my chair in a place where apparently bombs are squirted every other day.
I know. It's not funny.
I guess even if we did celebrate Halloween, our spirits would be dampened because of what happened this Thursday. I read the newspapers today and I cried when I read about a nine months pregnant woman fainting when she saw her husband's body. They had two more kids who are toddlers.
I wept on my brother's shoulders and I cried for the people who lost their loved ones. A man was supposed to meet his fiance on Friday only he never got there.
I wish somehow I could relive that Thursday and then warn all those people or something. I don't know what to do except feel helpless and miserable.

So I was preparing for my math exam today. Tuesday is dawning quicker than I can say, 'I HATE MATH! (except when I get good grades)'
After a stressful morning trying to figure out trigonometry (Note to Self: Some People Have Curly Black Hair Turned Permanently Brown. Those who are struggling to learn trigo must surely know this.) I switched to reading a Mills And Boon Book for happy endings which don't include Sin and Cos.
The thing is, generally, most of the books turn out crappy or just okay. But once in a while you come up with such a well written book you get wowed. Like the one I read today, 'The Virgin's Wedding Night' by Sara Craven. It was a little different from the others. You know how the MBs go; rich heroes (billionaires and trillionaires with a good fashion sense even when they don't shop, pretty grey/green/blue eyed young heroine with no money to speak of and is working hard to meet ends. They meet, hate and then love blossoms...
Needless to say, these books keep me happy. They are terapathy. Cheap and useful. I don't depend on chocolates when I'm depressed, its the lovely books which keep me going!
However, the one I read today, had the girl rich at first, she makes the bet/proposition and he is poor at first. Reading further, I realised he is the squillonaire (of course!)
But I liked it.
So that's my confession today.
I Love Mills and Boons!
So sue me.
Today was a horrible day. No need to mention why.
God it was awful!
My mom and I were watching, glued to the T.V. There were dead bodies and blood everywhere. So many people died, so many injured.
I almost threw up when I saw a body, black. It was burnt...ash...
I don't know when I'll be able to remove that image from my mind.
My brother, cousins were at school and my relatives and my mother got all worried. We had curfew from the afternoon because of the blasts and the violent reaction of the people.
It was just Diwali...two days back.
R.I.P All those people who lost their lives today...
